The project team will cover our roles and responsibilities, explain the purpose of the project, and present an introductory demonstration of Kevala Analytics tools.
10:45 - 11:30: Perspectives
We will hear remarks from HPUC Commissioner Lorraine Akiba, HPUC Commissioner Jay Griffin, HNEI Director Rick Rocheleau, and Elemental Excelerator CEO Dawn Lippert.
11:30 - 12:00: Hawai'i, DER, and the Grid: An Outside Perspective
More Than Smart Executive Director Matthew Tisdale will provide an introduction to the Walk-Jog-Run Framework and provide context for using the approach in O'ahu.

1:00 - 2:30: Project Overview
Building off the morning session, the POG project team will review best practices from other states and evaluate them with Hawai'i specific considerations. We will also conduct a short overview of the approach the POG project is taking to conducting hosting capacity analysis and locational value analysis.
2:30 - 3:30: Introduction to Scenario Development
The group will review the long-term energy scenarios developed in the Hawaiian Electric Companies' 2016 Power Supply Improvement Plans (PSIP), and gather stakeholder input and review data considerations for how the POG process will develop and evaluate scenarios.
3:30 - 4:00: Next steps and action items
